You may be intereested to know that my friend and I are making a javascript version of that quite soon. We're making a simpler game called "The Shed" first, just so we can get the game engine working correctly first, and its going pretty well! All this confusing stuff with static objects, movable objects, object functions, timers... oosh!

Amazing work Eric. Your work shows a great appreciation for line-quality and flow, your compositions are complex and probably not noticed by the average Joe. Your work is the visual equivalent to some techno or abstract jungle.

To be quite honest, I tend to listen to techno/trance when I make my work...I think it may translate over into the visual medium, as you say.
For example, one of my more recent deviations is titled Maian Dream, which is actually the title of a song by the popular Goa/Psy group Astral Projection.

The best explanation I have seen thus far was made by ~fractals in a journal entry.
And I quote:
"A Fractal is a strange mathematical object. Commonly, the term fractal means "a picture generated using iterative mathematical formulas" such as Mandelbrot formula, using complex numbers (like 7+3i, 7 is the real part and 3 is the imaginary part, i is the square root of -1, so i*i=-1 ). But the math part of the problem is just there to be used in softwares that generate pictures using these formulas. Used iteratively, they define regions that you can color using your own imagination (gradients, contrasts...). In a fractal picture, you will find the same pattern at different levels of zoom. A good way to handle the concept of fractal is to download a software and zoom in and out in the Mandelbrot set. Advanced programs use corrective parameters in order to create better gradients than successive bands of colors, so as to have a smooth gradient. Fractal eXtreme does not smooth gradients, where Ultra Fractal can do it. Other programs use other equations to generate the picture and the color.
