YYH is my fandom of choice/primary fandom/favorite anime EVER. I'm totally in love with it; been in love with it for years, ha ha. I'm mostly into older shows since I like being able to see an entire series in one go (I guess I don't take kindly to waiting for weekly episodes, lol). Some of my favorites are Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Sailor Moon, DBZ, Inuyasha--the classics, I guess? Lol! Some others I like are Code Geass, Yu Gi Oh, Gosick, Eyeshield 21, HunterxHunter, FMA, Baka to Test, Monster... funnily enough, though, all but one of the things I cosplay either come from American animation, video games, or cinema. O_O The only character I play from anime is YYH's Shizuru, and she's still a work in progress.

I'm talking your ear off! Sorry! I get longwinded when I get going on topics I enjoy. -_-;

I'm dying to cosplay as Botan at some point in time or another, or even as Hiei, but I guess time will tell, no?

It's okay if you're talking my ear off! I haven't talked to anyone about fandoms and whatnot (besides my bestie) in a long time so it's really awesome!

Well, I've been cosplaying for seven years now, so mostly, it's been cross-play. I have been:
Mokuba Kaiba-YGO, Edward Elric-FMA, Wrath-FMA Original, Momiji Sohma-Fruits Basket, Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka-Ouran Host Club, Erm.... Juliet-RomeoXJuliet, Lily Evans-Harry Potter Marauders Era, Jolteon Gijinka!-Pokemon, and I think that's about it.. What a list, hm? XD

Ooh ooh BOTAN! I’ve always wanted to cosplay her, but the hair intimidates me. I’m simply too darn tall to ever pull off being Hiei. Shizuru and I have similar hair (provided I straighten mine) and she’s tall, so yeah, easy-peasy.

Oh WOW, that’s a lot of cosplay! I’m pretty new to it myself; I’ll have to ask you for tips sometime, lol! What was your first cosplay? I’ve only ever shown my Carmen Sandiego in public, but I have Velma from Scooby Doo and Lara Croft lined up for ACen this year. ^^ Possibly the Wicked Witch of the West, too, if my Glinda gets her stuff together.

Nice! I would have loved to be Elphie last year, but wasn't able to (ran out of spot time for it and didn't get to finish) so maybe in a year or two I can.
You'll have to find me!! We'll have to meet up at some point. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for Velma, hm? lol

My first cosplay was Wrath from FullMetal Alchemist. I've always loved Wrath and found him adorable. We used to have a group of Homunculi at school when I was in middle/high school and I chose Wrath cuz he was adorable (still is! Original RULES!) so yeah and I knew I could pull him off well.

I have cosplayed as Wrath for going on seven years, but unfortunately he will not be coming with to ACen 12.
Considering I don't know what the weather will be toward the end of April, I don't want to risk getting sick-I got sick last year at the con due to the weather and ended up losing my voice Friday and didn't get it back til two weeks after the con. It sucked.

I'm a bit worried about the weather too, to be honest. Luckily my favorite/best cosplay is a warm one, but it can be a bit overwhelming in hot weather. I guess I'll be going as Velma if Carmen gets to be too stifling.
