I still like it, but only when it's extremely well-written. There are too many... eh... not so great interpretations of their relationship out there. D: For that reason I tend to prefer ZaDF, but like I said, if I see someone REALLY pull it off... I'm hooked.
Don't be embarrassed, though! If you like it, you like it, and no one should tell you otherwise. There's nothing wrong with it if that's the way you see their relationship.
