((Everybody feels that way on their first day! It gets easier, trust me. Make sure to try new things and attend events, like the big 'opening event' on campus at Kent was called Blast Off. I wish I still had the grades and confidence to continue my education at Kent, because I miss all the fun stuff like this...*sob* They had music and clubs advertising openings for incoming students, as well as other activities for fun and some live bands performing. Then there's always local festivals and stores to check out, if you live on campus. Downtown Kent had TONS of places to eat, shop, or just hang out, so you'd see kids there even during the afternoon on a school day when their classes were over. I know it's going to be tempting to hide in the dorm room (or go straight home if you're a commuter), but DON'T!!! That's one of the main mistakes I made, not forcing myself to be social all the time. Try new stuff too; I gave ice skating a go and even though I kind of sucked (lol) I still had a great time. Not that you have to be social all the time--there's lots of studying to do, too!!!--but just try and put yourself out there. Employers will want someone who can reach out to new people, or at least interact with others on a regular basis, and college is a great way to get experience in this. ))

[[ That's a lot easier said than done.  I don't actually know how to do things and it's not like I know how people actually work, not to mention I'm easily forgettable.  It's kinda hard to reach out to people when you know you're not important.  And before you say "Oh but that's not true!" It kinda is true since I really don't have any personal ties with anyone.  I'm not sure how to get people to actually care about me or how to care about people who are pretty much packing peanuts in the big box known as college.  It's difficult cause I have no similarities with any average people I don't understand how people work, speaking through the internet is entirely easier than speaking in real life.  People are sorta the equivalent to aliens for me they're that unknown to me. ]]

I looked a bit through your gallery as well.  I think you have improved greatly in your art from past to present.  I also think you have really interesting concepts.  My only suggestion is maybe to be a bit careful when picking such vibrant colors as your background when your subjects don't take up that much space in the piece because it may draw the viewers eye away from the relationship of the subjects.  That is, unless you are going for that.  My suggestion is that if you wish to use those vibrant tones in such large quantities, either make the subjects bigger or pick certain areas in the picture to place that color so that the eyes will move around the piece.  Other than that great work and I hope to see you keep working and drawing and keeping up the good work! ouob  I hope you don't mind me stating a little critique though...OTL
