Your work is strongest, I would say, when it's making a point about something, as in Idolators or Gluttony. My collages never do this. I just let the pieces arrange themselves, almost, in an unconscious way until a story comes through from a few very storngent set of rules I have made for myself. Completely different way of working to you, it seems. You start with an idea and work towards putting it together. I don't think I've ever seen collage pieces quite like that.

you see the funny thing is that i love strong, clear, bright colours. I wear them, i look for them, i understand them. but whenever i make my own collage i tend to slide towards the calm, half-tint, timid ones. It's almost against my will. But since it works well i stopped fighting with it.
