The animation camp is the most tiring/informative/lame/awesome/pwn/intense thing i've ever done.. artistically anyway. I only have two weeks left... We're drawing on Cintiques now and using photoshop and stuff. The animation and life drawing part ended a couple of weeks ago. We went to the aquarium for the last life drawing class to draw some animals! And just a couple of days ago I got to go to Siggraph. So like. I saw all these huge companies like Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks a few universities handing out stuff, 3-D image people, Wacom people.. THE CONVENTION WAS BOMB. I met a lot of nice people there ANDD GOT A LOT OF FREE STUFF. So happy. I got some like animation magazines and videos XD And i won a book they sold there Q.Q I loved it. The next Siggraph convention is in liike.. Hong Kong. LOL, so i'm happy I caught it. BUT RIGHT NOW...

I'm hating the assignment i'm doing right now. I'm like. a little stressed. ehh oh well i'm not going to finish on time. That's cool >.> We're doing story boarding on monday I think.

Well my cousin was getting married in Victoria, so since we were going for the wedding anyway we decided to vacation there! We went to Chinatown, explored some caves, and went to this AMAZING place called WildPlay. Have you heard of it???? If not, Google it NOW it's the biggest awesomest scariest playground EVER Really expensive but worth it.
Aw, don't hate the assignment. It never did anything to you! Well at least TRY to have fun with it. What is it, anyway? Storyboarding sounds fun! I watch my Dad do that all the time and it looks tricky. >.>

Oh he does story boarding? Nice! We started it today And yeah i wish we did this together, it would've been fun! Annnndddd i got the teacher to look over some of my work. He said i got some pretty cool ideas ONE DAY I'LL BE A DIRECTOR. FOR SURE.

Oh yah Japanese films are cool too! Spirited Away is Japanese, right? ... okay for the longest time I was convinced my dad had worked on that for some reason (I think because he always was reading this magazine with a picture of it on the cover). But that movie is really good and cute too!

Yeah she said it was ugly. I didn't think it was THAT bad but i guess it's ugly. Um well for life drawing we did a bunch of structural drawing and gesture drawing. We're moving onto character design now. I CAN'T DRAW THIS STUPID UGLY CAT. Urgh. It's tiny and has a football head and it's SKINNY too. What kind of cat is skinny?!?! FAT CATS are adorable. =.= when i showed her the drawing of the cat she gave us she's like, "This looks nothing like it. I mean you made it look so fat."
