I went to a doll meet yesterday and asked about why our Qis are so "kicky" and I found out it has nothing to do with re-stringing, our Qis need to be sueded!

She is really tightly strung and I can't get her head on lol but I still love her to teeny tiny bits <3
I've been posing her a lot to get her to loosen up. She's so tight I don't think I can even get her undone to loosen the elastic ;A;

It gives me time to work on her faces though xD

Lala wasn't /super/ tight, but I did have to do some exercises (like I said on DoA).

I'm restringing her now. The space on the top of her neck is getting dented by the S hook.
I dun want her cracking whilst I attempt stretching her limbs. I need to take her apart and wipe off all the residue that's on her resin anyway xD
I can tell they shipped her to me the soonest they could manage lol.

I can't decide if I want to do her eyemod or her faceup on her unmodified head

I do like it here in Okinawa. It's a very beautiful place. I do need to get out more though xD I spend a lot of time inside the house working on homework and taking care of my 2 year old (I go to college online for web design )

I did hear that people traveled here in order to escape all the stuff going on in mainland. However, I haven't really noticed much of a difference.

I drove through Texas once, in the dead of summer O_O lol. I recall it being awfully hot, and I think I visited Dairy Queen at least three times. xD So delicious and refreshing on a sweltering, smouldering, sunny Texas Summer day.

Art classes aren't all that bad. But you definitely have to keep an open mind. Teachers have a lovely habit of killing off creativity and making everyone cookie cutter artists. It's like, if you don't do something a certain way, you're not an artist. I've run into this everywhere. Just as long as you can apply the concepts of the class to the wonderful art you're already doing, you can improve what you've got and not squish what you were trying to improve in the first place. However, at the same time, sometimes you get that cool art teacher that is accepting to all sorts of art, and helps you with what you like to do

I think it's cool that you're in high school ^^ I kinda miss high school some days LOL and other days I don't xD

Yeah, being in a car in Texas during the summer is no fun...

I don't know the art teachers at our school very well (I'll ask them for anatomy advice, sometimes), but the projects they give out are so boring I know I wouldn't enjoy it.

I'm a junior, but I've already taken some college classes.

I admit, art projects can be pretty boring. But at least you can learn from them After you realize you are no longer frustrated at the fact that it isn't coming together as you hoped it would. However, when the dust settles, there is a lesson to be found! xD
