Oooh~ hands is a hard place to start with XD but that's good! You could try starting off with head shots like I did too :3 everyone has there own thing though so it's cool to just experiment till you find that style or thing you just love to draw :3

Btw tonight I'm doing a join me! I couldn't yesterday because I decided to get ahead of some homework , but tonight I'm doing one for sure ~

And, the hand isn't even that bad, its just a bunch of simple shapes put together, and when you are drawing the hand in different positions, think of it as stacked cylinders when it comes to cartoon drawing. makes things MUCH MUCH easier, but right now I'm experimenting with flat hands, and 3d hands, etc.
Tbh, its frankly quite easy, you just need to know the shapes that go with it.
I think when I learn the basics, I'll be drawing hands but with gloves on, kind of like mickey mouse, or Mario. I like how the cartoon hand looks with a glove on
