Sayyy dude...was gonna add some more partner characters to FantasTech RPG's roster.Β
Although I was gonna ask, which of your characters do you think would make for good battle partners? Like say...Fargim and Chandra? Okal? Anwen ferch Jernigen?Β
Those are just off the top of my head since I honestly haven't touched upon your characters for a while.

I'd say the ones you had in your status post like Fargim and Chandra, Dixie and Timeo, Anwen, Okal, and Brandr work well.
Some others that could work would be Lenonia and Hecate, Nacce and Moryile, Jagger, Ealhsige and Demelza, and Rinhima.
If you're also doing characters who could be friends if you're not into battling - Leahea and Thandriel, Angelino and Sura, Rilsi, Khrein, Skoow, andΒ Guilina Lawrenceville.

Thanks for the extra contributions dude! ^^ That does give me the idea to sort out characters by the dA users they belong to, just for easier accessibility.
Also...I have been indeed toying around with ideas for a non-combatant mode of play. I do enjoy the notion of making a sheet for "Travel Friends" who are non-combatants, but provide good interaction and an incentive to not need to fight all the time!Β
Maybe with professions, exploration and the like?

Professions and exploration would be good ideas for non-combatant play. Maybe also quests to bring messages to the different Kingdoms of cities and retrieving items for certain characters could work as well.

Yeah! I think that, as well as that Delivery Service idea I had, and other quests that'd give players an incentive to get to know the NPC's too.
That actually reminds me...wanted to draw your player character, and two questions I had:
1) What was their name again?
2) Which non-combatant friend followers would they have? At least four characters to start off with!Β

I think having certain battle partners being also being friend followers can work. I can see less physically combatant followers like healers and mages could make good friend followers as well.

Denise was checking out her new college town with her friends she's known since highschool - Venus and Monroe. "So, how was your first day girls?", the blonde wolf asked the dove and flamingo.Β
"It was great!", Venus squealed, "We're going to be designing our own clothes tomorrow! It's perfect!".

Ray was seen with his friends Lars and Alex, his friends for years. They were walking around town.
"So you guys got any plans today guys?" Alex, the yellow fox asked.
Lars, the blue fox shrugs. "Not sure."
"Maybe we could get some food fellas." Ray says.

"That sounds lovely, Venus!", Monroe spoke up in a cheery tone.
"Yeah - though, there are some losers who don't really know how to dress at all in the class.", the flamingo scoffed a bit, "Anyway, what about you two?".
"We just had a bit of an ice breaker the first day. Tomorrow we're going to start class with our own political stances.", Denise said, having gotten more into politics over the summer.
"Sounds interesting!", Venus chirped.

"Sure, I need a new dress shirt, maybe a tie, and some new dress shoes." Alex says, smiling.
Lars looks at the store. "I've been wanting to get a white suit shirt for a while. Would really fill out my blue appearence."

"I-I just decided to get into Programming and Website Designing.", Monroe said, a little embarrassed, "Also, a little software engineering as well...".
"You're still doing what you love! Nice!", Venus smiled to the other two girls, "I heard the nerds got a lot more hot after graduation, so that's a nice bonus~!".
