Hey Michael,
Just wanted to say thanks for uploading those flats for Nema's piece. Honestly, they were the whole reason I made an entry; I spend large chunks of my life flatting, and I hate it like a kid hates a bath. I've always had fond dreams of one day hiring a flatter, and so I couldn't resist just having the experience. Weird, I know. Anyway, thanks again, and your entry was stellar, of course.

Aww, crap. I was hoping you knew the secret to fast, easy flats. Anyway, thanks for the watch, right back at you. And anytime you are bored, I'd love some pointers/feedback on my coloring; I pretty much always color my stuff, and any help would be awesomely appreciated.

haha not me. I am the *worst* flatter in history. A good flatter does a page in 20min. I take hours. I have bad ADD though. While I can zone out with coloring often, I have a real hard time doing so while flatting.

Ha. yeah. I figured. Flatting is just tedious, and he did put a good amount of details. Alot of beginners would be really intimidated at that.
It would be in peoples best interests to add their own personal touches beyond the flats, as well mind you. Details I even glossed over here and there perhaps.
As long as people don't rely too heavily on the preset colors, (I color shifted what I had on purpose), there is no reason to make everyone go through that basic setup over and over.

I just hide the flats anyway and work from a dark grey... gotta have a different palette, some people will no doubt use it though! Tsk, tsk... cheaters haha! Theres alot of stuff to play with in the image so I doubt we'll see too many that are the same...well I hope not
