And IRL i'm at my parents house for Thanksgiving today! Also i'll be going to another

Oh! Well, on SAI whenever i'm done with a sketch i would then trace it using the pencil icon.
I prefer going for a smooth outline on the pencil settings. After i'm done with that i use the
magic wand icon to click on the parts where i want to color. (it makes things a heck
of a lot quicker to finish) As for shading, it really depends on what kind of pic i want to make.
But i try to make the shaded parts colored completely different from the non-shaded parts.
(depending on the color of course)

OH! And laying, Laying is always important. You gotta have your sketch, outlines, colors
and background separate from one another until your pic is 100% done.
