Thanks for the comments, it's good to know you are making the rounds, lets see "sudden growth" i was trying to see what a space warp in 3d Max would do on tubes (the outer parts) then cloned the cylinders in the middle of the tubes (no warp attached to them) about the same time was making materials and for a hoot slapped one in the picture for the background, it reminded me of a dive off N CA, when i came up ask what the piles were for and was told growth, hence the name.
"Disk go spawn" was a study of circular arrays. Still learning Max here.
