Ah, this makes me happy to hear that my style is that way. Β It's hard to see one's art style objectively.
I was thinking more along the lines of a destructive beast, in-between anthro and feral, that manages to be violent and ghastly yet graceful and intelligent. Β Though whatever goes, really. Β (Can you smell my indecision?) Β My biggest problem will be figuring out what sort of pose to draw it in; that's how it is lately.
So, which parts should each of us do? Β I'd sketch, you'd fix up the anatomy, one of us would line it, I'd colour, you'd shade and do the background? Β I'm not sure which stage you want to add details at.

I like your idea. Though I am not sure how to show that in a single picture. Sitting on back legs on a pile of things it destroyed, but with a book in its handpaw?
I add details like fur and eyeshine after shading, and background before shading. This way I know the light sources and reflecting colors. The fixed sketch will be pretty detailed, so you can line it.

I just use a lot of adjectives to be precise D:Β I'll sketch something soon.
Somehow I nearly always manage to forget to plan the light source before shading.Β Apparently I go into autopilot for shading, and once it's over I'm just as frustrated as always.

I can't express how much I love this. Β Everything is as it should be. Β The slender face, the long ears, the mane, the eyes. Β I've been having trouble drawing canine faces as of late, so I am doubly impressed. Β I love this style, too.
