Hi. There's something up with my account and I'm bored and paranoid so I'm asking around to try and figure out what's happening. It won't let me access messages, deviation alerts, or any of the links on the submission menu (including Help, incidentally). Also, whenever I make a search about half the deviations don't even show up. Has this ever happened to you before? Is there anything to be done about it?Does it come back on its own? Am I going to DIE? (Metaphorically speaking, of course.) Just... yeah. If you know anything, message me.
And I'm sorry I haven't been commenting on deviations--I've just been really busy lately, and now there's this.

No problem! Your stuff is so amazing, I aspire to be like you one day, lol. I'm wondering, though. For the waterscape pictures you took, how did you get the water so smooth looking?

DennisChunga In reply to pessoadapaz [2008-12-08 02:58:43 +0000 UTC]
use an ND filter....it acts like sunglasses over the lens. you have to do a longer exposure with this filter on, so the water has more time to flow..creating a smooth effect

Aaah okay. For a longer exposure, though, can it work with any camera? I don't know if my camera has the option to do a long exposure, even though you can buy an ND filter.

as long as your camera has the "M" or manual feature, you can do it

Ohhh0
I just tried it out, and it was really weird. Maybe it doesn't work well with indoor pictures, but the lighting was all funky. I was having fun making myself a ghost though
