Yeah I just put alot of pressure on myself. I want to get better- I'm working on this graphic novel so I guess you can say I'd like art/writing as my career.
Do you know anything about astrology? I'm a Virgo Sun/ Pisces Moon and I see you are a Pisces sun Just wondering what your Moon sign might be

hahah I had no idea until you asked and I'm probably the worst person to ask. I don't believe in astrology at all :-P
i checked for you and it says my moon sign is gemini
what is your graphic novel about if i may ask? i write some stuff too but just stories and poems,i'd never be patient enough to complete a novel

well I've got one major story and the one I am working now is to basically take the heat off the major.
Set in the time of ancient Greece, lead character grows up in an emotionally cold family- mother isn't nurturing, father doesn't know how to talk to a daughter. So the father introduces her to things which are typical of a teenage boy of the time because he realizes the mother doesn't much acknowledge their daughter.
Well she ends up training in the rebel army as this is a time of anarchy in their world. She ends up getting wounded and ill and the father sends her to a more peaceful country as war strikes their home. He also has set her up to apprentice a sculptor, and now feels guilty about setting her up in that brutal world.
The lead character is quiet, not shy, and gains a reputation in the new country for being allusive and emotionally withdrawn. But as war spreads across the lands it begins to threaten her peaceful home and breaks up a certain love affair as she must go back to her roots and join the defense.
sorry for the long summary- the idea is still fresh, I've got a lot to add and work out.

wow, i'd have never thought of an ancient story! it seems interesting, as the characters get a little deeper and you add more side-events it could turn out to be a great novel.

ahh thumbs up that is nice of you I never tell anyone my stories and your sun and moon combo is a very nice one by the way. I ask everyone for their birthday- the logic of astrology makes me feel a more solid reality but I believe in a little bit of everything but all of it I also don't believe in. HA I am a walking contradiction and as my bartender friend says- never talk about religion or politics so I will only say that much about the subject

hahah. I dont have a problem talking about either of them. I'm socialist, and agnostic. I find religions harmful, looking past I see all they've done is creating more difference and/or privilege and directing people into wars. and forcing people to be stupid in order to lead them better. so yeah this is my opinion I am very open-minded, though. I don't judge anyone by their opinion.

I agree in most everything you said, hands down. I don't know what it's like where you're from but I currently live in Maine, in the US and here many have an "I'm right, Your wrong", persona. It just doesn't matter the belief, the equation applies to most everything.
This is the longest conversation I've had on here People normally cut their replies short and I never hear from the again.. which is alright I guess. I spend most the day outside- I had to move to the boondocks after my mom died and I have to walk three miles just to go buy a cigar. I can't wait to live in the city again.

Oh I'm sorry for your loss, and answering so late. I went outside and came back home now.
Well, even saying I'm "this" and "that" is a way of categorizing yourself so I still question that. but so far this is what fits my opinions, maybe i should just let my mind free.
And where I live is pretty mixed up, there are people of all kinds of lifestyles, opinions and beliefs. you'd feel lost by not being a part of something but on the other hand it's the only way to be "you".
it's also one of my longest conversations but i enjoyed it :-P
