Ah that sounds awesome haha. I was supposed to have a holiday soon ,Chinese New Year, but the next job I'm taking has a launch date right on the 14th - first day of the holiday. Slow - :slow:

LOL you've been in China for YEARS; how have you not picked up Mandarin? How do you even get around =p (Razz) - =p
My Mandarin is terrible. My parents made me take it all through primary and high school, so I always hated it. I haven't spoken/read/written Mandarin since I stepped out of my exam in 2006 LOL - :lol:

I had a tutor for a month, went through one of those Chinese lesson books. It wasn't so hard! I could start talking/txting (pinyin) with my gf, about small stuff. Like when are we meeting this week, let's go do this do that etc etc lol.

I claim to have forgotton my mandarin, but if someone blurts out something at me, occassionally my brain will make weird connections and just know. I'm pretty sure all I can say now is, "How much is that?" and "Is it cheaper if I buy two?" Just in case I ever decide to ever visit china again :D (Big Grin) - :D
