honestly, it doesnt represent the actual painting anymore.
It was blurry because the camera didnt want to focus the different colors and whatnot....i adjusted the contrast, lighting, colors, etc, in photoshop so that it matched the hardcopy a little better. Thanks for the time spent, but contrast/brightness alteration doesnt always make it better. Sometimes it will alter the contrast too much and there isnt a shading gradient; and sometimes it will improve your picture or painting incredibly....it all depends on the relation to how the hard copy looks in reality.

cool, i guess i didn't really think about matching the original painting,
i mainly have relied on digital cameras to get the most of the effect of a painting and editting it digitally

word. thanks a lot.......if you like my style-->[link] --> I really think this piece emphasizes my ideal style--> I only started painting and taking art seriously (constructively producing all my doodle potential into artwork) a little over a year ago....
so I am finally feeling like I have technique and an understanding of my style/vision/or whatever; and it is best captured and developed in my latest piece (since i've never taken a painting or art class unless you include art in high school for a freshman year---not only over 8 yrs ago, but my school employed some real dumb ones if you know what I mean..[not that I cared much then though])
ps- ponder the title a little longer and see what you can come up with for a meaning...

You use acrylic or oils? I can give you some really good tips on creating interesting stuff; with a little bit of poverty induced ingenuity...i mainly use acrylics, but I recently have been using black and white ink on top of dried acrylic to 'draw' stuff in....it's nice bc ink is extremely thin. So you can build layers with acrylic (almost carving if you so choose) or you can dilute acrylic so it's thicker than watercolor, but just barely....water is your friend with acrylics--use it in any creative way you can. lemme know if you'd like any more-i'd be happy to discuss
and something i just found at hobby lobby---a paintbrush connected to a tube that you fill with water. there is some sort of limiter that keeps the bristles nice and wet, but no paint into the water tube...and you can even squeeze the tube and more water will flow. It's really awesome for some things....ingenious idea, I want to get all sorts of shapes---but they only had this one....anyway

good to hear. I just posted a new painting I am kind of proud of. Although not completely finished, it's really close...I always have to back away from a piece ive worked on to get perspective; so I'll do all the finishing touch-ups later in the week after my mind has cleared. Peace
