It was some time during Himeko Kushina's second year at Duel Academy. Took her a while, but she'd finally made friends at the place she was only half-willing to attend. Problem was...one of those friends was going through some rough times. All because of that pompous bastard Edo Phoenix. Normally, this wouldn't be as big of a deal. But something about the situation was making Himeko feel worse than she usually did when a friend was in trouble.

She was walking around near the coast by the red dorm, trying her damndest to wrap her head around what was going on with her. At one point, she sat on a boulder with an exasperated huff and glowered at the ocean, as though it could give her answers. No one could tell how long she sat there, but they could tell that she wouldn't have been able to hear someone coming. Unless they were Shou. Or Kenzan. Neither were known for stealth, after all.

Hearing a loud thud caused Himeko to jump at least a foot. Her lavender hair nearly stood on end, trying to calm herself down as she turned to face the other person.

"What the..." She said to nobody in particular before shifting attention to the other person. "Would you like some help?"
