No, that won't be the case.
I'm still in touch with all my friends from my college, even the ones I knew for less than a year, everyone on my dA list that I am friends with, I talk to every so often even if they aren't very active or even if I'm not so active and I always keep a promise unless on the very rare occasion it is better to break the promise. This isn't one of those occasions.
