No need to compare yourself to others xD People grow at different paces. Plus you're like 13 and I'm 23, and I've formally studied in art for 5 years. You have plenty of time. Even if there's a 13 year old prodigy you find, no need to compare yourself to them. Different events in their life may given them the advantage to excel at their age.

Point is, just stay optimistic and be proud of any progress you make as an artist :] Once you begin to feel bad about your art, your art will become bad. Everyone grows at their own pace.

Ahhh I didn't know Bunny was teaching it this semester 117A looked pretty cool. Lots of visdev practice. I'm leaning more towards Illustration. I can do some animation, but I don't enjoy it as much.

Any graphite pencil thats H, like 2H, 4H, etc. the higher the number, the lighter.

Preferably I like to use Prismacolors Col-Erase pencils since you can easily separate the colors in Photoshop :] Hope this helps

I'll try those pencils you recommended. Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever saw them at an art store around here. D: I may have to order them off online sometime.

ooohh...pretty awesome, by the way I don't know if this is a thing for him but i am in the process of making works to submit to DA and one of my early ideas is a collection of the OC's of my favorite DA artists, but i first opted to get their permission in case they didn't want me to. I have messaged super-tuler 3 times asking if he would mind if i included one of his OC's but he hasn't responded once. You know him better than i would, would he mind if i included one of his characters?
