They're absolutely fantastic! I keep picturing how each quirky creation would look dotted around a house - strange but fantastic at the same time.

Thanks. I mainly create the things I like to create. I do take commissions only a few times a year. My production of works mainly are to support art festivals, this is my main focus.

your work is very nice
are there special brands of clay/porcelain needed so that there is no health ricks with drinking from them?
or is it coated safely with special glaze?
I just thought to ask and be safe than sorry

Thanks. Nope, no health risks with stoneware in it's vitrified state. You could drink out of a stoneware cup with no glaze. Lead free glazes are used so no health risk there. What you see here is comparable (actually better) than dinnerware you would find at a shop. I just use the functionality elements along with sculpture to create something unique.

I custom mix my clay from a buff commercial stoneware. Yes, my studio is complete with a kiln.

Everything that is listed on Ebay is posted here as well. I do not keep a seller store on Ebay. It's an auction site and I treat it that way. Too many pieces up at a time and they compete with each other. You will see a variety of this from past Ebay listings on my page here listed as "for sale".

I have to say, your work is fantastic. Just out of curiosity, are the eyes and teeth made seperately and then added to the clay face? can't quite get my head around how it would all fire in a kiln (still studying at uni!). But anyway, keep up the great work.

Thanks. The eyes (sometimes) and teeth are hand made before the process and then added. All clay bodies have similar shrinkage rates so no issues in the kiln.
