Yeah, I hate my job too, but we're lucky to have jobs. That's the only reason I'm not going to toss mine just yet, until I can find a good one to replace it. I'm so desperate I went to the workforce office. XD I don't have much in the way of people skills, at least not in the employment department. Apparently, just as school and I have never gotten along, the same seems to go for me and organized employment. XD

ha well, aren't we a pair? *.* One thing I can't stand is that where I work, you have a ridiculously strick uniform. The only way I get to keep any of my own style is with my makeup, and I'd be lying if I said that my zest for crazy makeup designs has never gotten me in trouble. Just a couple weeks ago my manager wanted to send me home because she thought some of my customers were looking at me strangely, and that my eye makeup was to blame. I had to laugh at that. I figure, unless I get a complaint from a customer myself, no reason to worry. ^^ But she worries about everything XD

i work in a corporate office in cherry creek... fortunately, i don't deal with customers but the big guys all look at me strange. probably the hoop in my nose... or the two-toned (blond and black) hair (which i occasionally where in piggy tails) lol...

Oh, I'd love a job like that!! I can deal with strange looks, I've been getting them all my life I had it out with one of my coworkers today, and it just reminded me once again that I really really need a different job, immediately if not sooner. ^^ heh what sort of work do you do?

billing... not much to it... well, i say that but when i really sit and think about it, it's kinda a lot.... on average i probably send out several million dollars in bills ever month.... ? the problem with doing the corporate thing is being the creative person i am, the stuffiness is suffocating me! lol...

Wow, that's pretty intense. I'm looking for a desk job but maybe not one like that I really feel the stifled creativity thing, trust me.

I work at a Wendy's restaurant down the way from me. I don't like it one bit...the creativity thing is one BIG reason why I don't like it. ^^ The uniform really kills it.

Yeah, seriously. I keep begging the management to at least give us sleeveless shirts to wear during the summer, and maybe let us wear knee-length pants. [The heat is ugly behind the counter!] But alas, they're unyielding on the idea that the uniform matters to the customers. ^^ Or maybe I'm all by myself in thinking that it doesn't? *shrugs*

^.^ Hmm..I work Saturday and Sunday, if you were willing to come get me after I was finished working or something XD kind of an odd request, I know. My mum works Sunday till 10 at night. no problem... actually, her appendix burst. University hospital misdiagnosed her a week before... she sat for over 13 hours after her appendix burst before they finally did emergency surgery...
during the week is crazy for me. got the daytime job. unless you are off and can come down to the cherry creek mall area. i work across the street from the mall... if not, let me know. we'll work something out!
