You might be surprised if you looked. Take a look at my favorites, and you'll see a ton of amazing colorists that are here on DA, never mind the many that aren't here.
When I first started getting interested in coloring, I wasn't very impressed with many of the colorists that were working. However today, I think the industry as a whole has a ton of amazing artists and is quite strong in terms of skill and vision.

Personally, I'm just at the cusp. I am working on an indo comic that will be published in Europe. And have done a few for hire pages with HiFi. As well as a few other 1shot images for others.

Yeah there are definitely a bunch of good ones too. And some of my favorites are here on DA. It's just that I feel most of the colorists in comics aren't very good. I hate seeing great lines with bad colors. Have you seen Kelsy Shannon . I noticed you didn't have any of his work in your favs. He's an amazing colorist!

I really love the color you put on the Walking Dead panels! I was really impressed with the art to begin with and the added color is fantastic.

Those test pages were fun and a good practice.
Even I have to admit, I really want to see The Walking Dead in color after having done that. haha.

Thanks. I try to change it up. The goal as a colorist is to make the most complete image as possible. Sometimes that means taking the back seat to the lineart, others that means taking charge and overpowering the lines. There is no one right way to do things.
And really, I haven't got any talent. I work hard to get better. if you could see the things I did when I first started. haha.
