I understand your peeve of how some people make there vhaarvters, that said its very unkind to point them out snd fail to realize its THERE character. They can make as they please, its not like it will show up on the real monster high.

No one ever said they were going to end up canon, which I highly doubt Mattel would do, not because of the characters, or lack there of, but rather because they don't want to get their asses sued.
It's not a matter of the characters possibly getting put into canon, it's the fact that the characters are horrible, and just denying there is a problem is definitely not the solution. I would feel horrible thinking my characters were the best and no one telling me the truth and thus I would never grow to understand the mistakes I'm making and continually live in a bubble of lies.
When people just tell you "oh this is so cool" "she's so cute!" and never telling you what you're doing wrong, it's a disservice and you'll never learn from. I just happen to do it in a satirical way that others find entertaining. I see nothing wrong in that.

It would be an interesting idea to have a child based on the creature that the other mother was based on, but not the other mother herself. Like I've said, I tend to hate any character based on creatures starting in the 1970s. Beldam means "old hag" but it also represents old witches (depending on your perception of a witch that is).
I've seen a few leprechaun characters, but not many have held my interest because they look and act like the Lucky Charms mascot. If you based him more on the faerie itself and not a cartoon character, then I think it would be interesting. One really interesting things leprechauns are known to do is when they give you gold, it does appear to be gold. But the moment you look away, it turns into leaves or rocks. Very tricky.
And I'm not quite sure how an evil twin counts as a monster.
