I'm going to get a photoshop trial on my new laptop and practice drawing, then cell-shading on it as soon as the exams are over. And of course I'll post more after that too
I've always tried launching myself directly into the fur business in digital, but I think going into is slowly via easier cell shading will be better.

For the first time when I saw questions I was like 'I will kill myself' but then looked again and saw this thing with significant events, so I thought about doing animal extinction/extinct animals. There were a lot of wondering about-on the one hand I really wanted to do something giving thoughts/sad illustrations with animals, but then Joe took the same idea (I was first tho :f) and on the next day I've came with other idea 'cities and towns' (I'm looking more for architecture) and it would be much better because I'm going to London in two weeks time and there I can research for the things I want for my project.
I know what are you doing,I heared your conversation (bad me) with miss, but where are you going on researches?

I wanted to do amimals too, but I thought significant events was too restricting. I'm basically researching ancient chinese statues of animals both real and mythological. And I want to include Chinatown in there somewhere. I wanted to do a mix of old and new stuff, which is why chinatown is so great.
Joe is actually doing migrating animals so I guess you could take the extinct animal option now.
Looking forward to the photography paper, I want to do photography of my chickens. I hope the paper is not too bad though.

Hi there!
Just visiting to wish you a happy Christmas (even though it's already passed XD) and hope you had a good holiday. With school just around the corner, I need to ask you something that's not related to school at all.
I've been looking around recently for a good breed of dog to get. I took a quiz on dogtime.com and one of the recommended breeds was a really beautiful retriever called the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. However, when I was researching it this morning, it said it had high energy needs and was very playful. As I'm at school all day most days and leaving when I finish art college in about 2020 I doubt whether I'll be present long enough for the dog to take a strong liking to me. Then I remembered that you have a young border collie, and wondered how you manage to keep such a high energy dog in check and how you get to spend enough time with it.
One of the big reasons for getting this dog is because my best friend is leaving at the end of this year to go to another sixth form, and I thought a dog would be a good way to get rid of some of the sadness I'll have to endure during Year 13.

Well, I do not have him now, just because he was too energetic and when it came to shool I and my mum was too bussy to take him on walk. Sad but we couldn't find any other solutions-and it was great responsibility to take a lot of time for him. If you have someone (I mean family) who can take own time to get with him on walk or play thats good, but also you need think about you- dog also need your attention and could disturb while you're doing school work.
Also, I can remember when I had a bit of problems with my dog, because had to spend a lot of time with him, and you know, I had more problems at school than now and had to learn english etc, exams...Border Collies are very very energetic, they're working dogs.
You know what? now I have a cat, I know that it really differs from dog's character, I mean dog is playful and always is by your side and is more 'kind' but I have ragdoll and this breed is really stuning! He is just like a dog and I can do whatever I want with him
I don't know what else to say, you must really think about a dog, that is responsibility, do not even bother to get one if you have too much to do
and well, I have also question,but about school, and because sometimes want to make sure if everything I think is correct- We have study leave week next week? and we do not come to school when we don't have a particular exam?

I used to like cats a little bit but never thought about getting one. It's never occurred to me to get a cat; I suppose I don't like them enough. I've always liked dogs better, especially the ones that are really loyal and really love you
I've been thinking about getting a dog after I come out of art college and when I've secured a good job and/or got someone else to live with me. I calculated that if I got a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever now, I would be about 31 when it died (they live for about 15 years) and I'd be independent by then... I can't just take the dog along into my adult life, especially as I'd be working all day and there'd probably be no one else in my house/flat/thing to look after the dog.
-sigh-
Maybe I'd better wait for a little bit.
Ah yes, brighter things, i.e school: Yes, it's study leave this coming week (Monday 5th) and if we're not studying at home then we go in to school for exams. I really don't know what we're supposed to do on Monday 5th, it doesn't say anything about it anywhere. I'm really worried

I would like to have dog too, when I finish university, get a job,have a house...I always dreamed about German Shepherd, my grandfather have one and she is lovely, but then I thought they also need time to raise them in a good way and they are guard/working dogs so are hard with nature.
I know what we have to do with Monday, but wasn't sure about the whole week. We have off, everyone have off in that day, so we have to study. It also tells on the exam table which we have got from assembly.
Yup, it can go crazy when you stay too long at home. I'm kind of person which love own home and can get thousand different activities while inside

I see we are in the same mind about dogs
Well I think I'm going to City of Bath college for the foundation art course, but that might change. One thing is for certain - I'm going to go to the University of the West of England for that 3-year Illustration course thing. It's like one of the best in the world - How can I not? And it's basically art college melded onto a university building, like a lot of art colleges these days. There are still a few standalone art colleges around though.
I'm still thinking about Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, even if I get one after university. They're really beautiful, like a golden retriever, but smaller and a darker shade. I just don't know how to cope with one if I get it after University D: rghhh
I used to want a German Shepherd, they're really nice looking, but they're bigger that Novas and probably harder to handle because of this. I still really like them, they look a little bit like wolves heh.
I did email Miss Boardman about Monday (I've lost the timetable from assembly) but she hasn't got back to me yet. I really want to go into school that day, I'm rather fed up of home. You're lucky you actually have the motive to draw all day - most days I'm like "Hmmm, what shall I do next" and I don't get much done.
What paper? You mean Maths? Cause I don't have to retake, I luckily got a B in GCSE. Life's good when it does stuff like that
I'm not sure about art and photography mock exams. We have the serious art one this month, but I don't know about photography... Rrr how I wish I was in your photography class. Mine's full of dorks.
