dude how do you do the blending to realism?? I'm at the beginning of this kind of stuff and i'm also self teaching myself, it'd be great, that is if you have time, if you could give me some pointers

I remember when I first started learning for myself about painting digitally, it was hard as there was so much to learn. here is a few pointers that I use on all my paintings but bear in mind that my way is probably the worst way but it achieves the results that I'm after. For 95% of the time I use one brush only, for blocking colours, blending, hair, clothes etc...the standard soft brush. I never use the smudge or blur tool, and never use masks (it's too complicated for me ) Apart from the blocking of colours, my soft brush is always on settings of 50% flow and opacity with the pressure sensitivity on. If you do it my way, it keeps the painting process really simple and easy. I hope this helps you a bit

I always do 50% opacity and 50% flow all the time for everything apart from blocking (100% each)
