It's normal to be nervous I would be too.Β It's a big step in life in general o.o
It's also okay to start small like just working with produce.
Job interviews in person or on the phone will usually make you wait that long it's kinda terrible
Don't stress yourself out too much tho you've got this man!
Just be professional and put your best foot forward
And if the opportunity isn't there there's always opportunity elsewhere

ugh yeah the wait is really the worst part especially to hear a no or nothing at all.
im honestly trying my best! i dont really come off professional but like everyone else i know how to do my job xc it just sucks no one gives me a chance and they all seem to pick everyone else over me and it really bums me out : (
i also dont have a car or any reliable transportation and im only willing to walk 2 miles max

i mean it doesnt hurt to try anyway some places dont care at all but now and days the lowest age is like 18 and its stressful as heck

a summer job might be easier to get then even tho its like in the middle also some places need help for christmas and will hire in november

when i worked at dunkin donuts it was really hard for me to open up i was only there for like a month (tbh stay away from dunkin donuts people without coffee are monsters i swear) people like yelled at me for not giving them hashbrowns even if they were in the bottom of the bag like?? its very hard to handle things like that
but like always just plaster on a cute lil smile and apologise like your life is on the line and make the customer think your lower than them even if theyre wrong youre always wrong. and half the time if theyre people you see more than once theyll either stay grump or lighten up but most of the time its like one and done. as long as you do wht they request its a lil easier to handle the situation
but like otherwise? an odd request is just??

It was sickening really especially for your pride
one lady told me her bread was stale on her dumb ham and cheese and she went "feel it. its stale. thats what it feels like when its stale." OKAY I know what something feels like when its stale im not some kind of stupid. it wasnt even stale it was pre soft. but i just smiled and was like "oh! my bad ill get you a new one!" and i had to remake the sandwich while she like stared me down like damn chill
some people will just drive others nuts but places that open hella early and fast food are just the worst my gosh

And oh my gosh, reading your current journal about how finding a job is so hard, the struggle is real and I feel your pain so deeply haha. It was so, so difficult for me to find my very first job because of that - it was my very first job so I had no references to put on my resume or anything. The entire time I kept getting so frustrated because I kept thinking, "Oh my gosh, why is nobody willing to give me a chance? There was a time where the manager of this place was desperately applying for their very first job."
I really hope you land on one soon, I wish I could give you the chance myself! I'm sure someone out there feels your struggle and I wish you the best of luck finding them!

and gosh im so glad im not the only one struggling with this!!
ive basically applied to 14 different places multiple times all in a span of 3 months and only had one call back.
my sister got me into my first job but they were awful anf there was a strong language barrier and i just couldnt deal with it and thanks to my step dad i got fired from the one i wanted to keep. unfortunetly i worked these at the same time and so when i put in my work history in current applications i KNOW it looks bad :c
i really need to start working so i can get a car and then move out of my house bc i cant stand it there
