Tiana, right:  !

The hand closest to the viewer looks a bit large for my taste,
and dark-painted fingernails look like blood clots to me— yecch!

But in terms of wow-rad photorealism, and exotic feminine beauty,
it doesn’t get any better than this!
Is your background CG, too?

Yes; your   caught my attention.
She displays what I consider a very seductive blend:

  • The ratio of her shoulder width to hip width is super-feminine.
[“Super” in the sense of Tinbergen and Barrett ]
  • Likewise, I am attracted by the low-versus-high muscularity
in her arms and thighs, respectively.
  • Add to that the extreme sweetness
    of her face and expression,
plus the very title of your image, and—
what a heart stealer! Eh, throb.
  • I look forward to your stories involving her.

    Who, me??

Well, on your gallery you have a number of boxing gals
(not necessarily my cup of tea),
whereas Makini90 displays some sweet anthros.

    My    would be sweet and hooved anthros;
but you don't have to write a story with beginning, middle, and ending:
it would suffice to exhibit a setting; a context; an environment; maybe a history.
If you brainstorm and illustrate some thematic ideas,
you can let your viewers fill in the blanks or connect the dots.
You could even poll your viewers about what should happen next.

    What's it like in Antarctica?

ttobserve In reply to LDivi [2014-05-28 22:26:41 +0000 UTC]

Indeed, it’s the coldest continent, rarely above freezing.

I’m not actually residing in Antarctica, but in Santiago, Chile,
and every time the Chilean channels give us a weather report,
they’ll include the Antarctic Peninsula, because Chile
    considers said Peninsula to be part of the national territory;
this claim is refuted by the United States of America, but,
so long as nobody finds something commercially valuable
in Antarctica, no wars will be fought.

Quite a respectable artist, you are:    I just added you to my “watch” list!

For one thing, your rendering quality is way up there with the feature-testers.
But you do so much more than test features and settings.
A look at your gallery shows an unusually broad swath of themes:

Many of your images have multiple characters, sometimes in complex interaction:

I have to respect an artist who takes his ideas seriously enough
to produce several versions of a scene, from different angles:

          [...]

Most 3D artists here on DA have similar tools at their disposal (myself included),
but precious few squeeze them to the extent that you do.
I am particularly intrigued by your Red Canyon (which I also just faved):

that you rendered in Vue, but does not exhibit the trademark
salt-and-pepper effect so typical of Vue renders, especially in the foreground.
Also, I commend you for not making the water look like shower-door glass!

Thanks. I love my idea for the Red Canyon, and my skill has come a long way, but I still like the first one better: :thumb199729340: and water is damn hard to make look right, and makes for Loooong render times.

    Your  :   —oh, yes!

For one thing, the pose is one that I had not yet seen in a 3D model.
For another, it is very well rendered.
A lot of artists here crank out DAZ/Poser images to illustrate a story,
but are too much in a hurry to render them so they look believable.
I think I would rather they rendered them in comic-book fashion.

Thirdly, I am very interested in knowing which base figures bend best these days,
and what tricks the best artists use to improve their results.
For example, I’ve been very interested in SiliconAya ’s tests and analyses.

    Here is another artist
who has logged in some extra hours in order to improve the folding of the knee.

        What is your advice?

    👍: 0 ⏩: 1

robotpope In reply to ttobserve [2014-04-22 04:04:55 +0000 UTC]

    Thank you for the compliments.

As far as any posing advice and how I improve the results I get; the main thing I can suggest is using a photo reference. This enables me, at least, to stay within the realistic scope of flexibility of the human body when bending the figure. As far as mechanics go, naturally I turn the limits on the character off. Secondly, I subdivide the model, usually by three. Adding more polys hides a lot of the janky edges that appear when you push the model to its limits.  The final feature I utilize is the smoothing option on the character, though I try not to overdo it as it tends to take away from the detail.

Everything I do is by trial and error as I have no formal training with 3d art, so I'm constantly learning from my mistakes. That being said, I find that with the morph/fix packages available (glue control, beautiful bends, ideal beauty, etc) really improve the overall look of the model when posing.

Hope this info can be of use to you.
