When you click on a gif now, there's an option in the description to see a gif that's less laggy. This one is slightly smaller but runs much smoother. I believe I implemented that in my latest gifs

Commission is when you pay someone to do work for them. In DeviantArt's case, someone is paying real money to someone else to make art for them.
