By the way, sorry it took me so long to reply!! I made a mistake and waited until the last second to do a huge project for my online class, PFFT. It was terrible and took way longer than I thought so I just lived and breathed that. SWEAT AND TEARS WERE SHED. And then my grandma is visiting for awhile so it's been a busy and hectic weekend and *sobs*!!! Ugh. I can't wait for things to slow down. HRGGHH.
But I've been meaning to ask you if you've heard of that wysp.ws site? I think it's new... But it's an art site and it's got like...these tutorials and practice section. I don't know! It looks cool!! I've been signed up for awhile now, but I haven't gotten around to trying it out yet.

It's no problem! Sadly I can relate to that "last minute project" where you literally have no time to do anything but eat and work. But I work better under pressure (I think)! I hope you get a good grade for all that work!
This is the first time I've ever heard of that site. It looks interesting, especially the practice! I probably won't sign up though, since I end up never using other art site accounts, but I'll try to remember to check back later just to see if they added anything new.

Have you heard the full version of Guren no Yumiya? I think it's great, but it seems like a lot of people who aren't familiar with Revo's style don't like it. As for the song...oh man, that beginning gave me chills. I wish those people would stop screaming so I could hear it. Ahhh! But man, I wish I could go there and join in with them, AHHAdkfjshdfsdf. I love excited crowds. But whoa, the song sure does take a different turn halfway through, huh? I still think it's good. It kind of reminds me of uhhh...like...have you ever heard of Kamelot or Sonata Arctica? Sort of like that? Dang, it is dramatic, though. I love that. I feel like I'm watching a performance at Disneyland, hehe!! But it almost sounds like a different song until the end when he brings it back again. I've been meaning to listen to those others songs you have given to me!! I have the message still here, which is why I haven't replied yet, haha.

Yep, it's in Japan! I love the excited crowds too, when I watch the concert dvds I always wish I could be among them! Especially when the singer(s) prompt the audience to sing along with them....everyone singing together, AAAAH. Oh I have heard a little bit of those bands! They do sound similar. I'm glad you like the full version, not everyone took the middle transition well, haha. Mid-song changes are not an unusual thing for Revo at all. I think it makes the return to the original melody much more exciting!
And for the other songs, I hope you don't feel like you have to listen to all of them! They are just there if you want them, listen at your own pace. c:

YES. I love going to concerts where you really admire the band/singers. SOOOO fun. I've also been to concerts where I didn't really care for the band at all and I didn't have like...any fun. So I don't know!! But does Revo ever come around over here? WILL YOU SEE HIM ONE DAY? That'd be really cool! I love when people from around the world do world tours!! But then it's super depressing when you can't go and they're like an hour away... AHHGHGHGHGHGHG. I am facing that dilemma now. I am forever sad!!
Hehe, no, don't worry! I don't feel pressured to listen to them at all. I really do want to listen to them, I just...am lazy... I don't even know. I haven't really been in a music mood lately. But I have been learning the fiddle lately...so maybe that's it. TOO MUCH music so I just...burn myself out. Pwaaahh. I'll let you know when I do listen to those links, though.

I wish I could see him! Going to a Sound Horizon concert is one of my biggest dreams, I could die happy if I attended one. ;u; A couple of years ago they had a concert in Korea, which is a pretty big deal since it's the first one they did outside of Japan. I'm glad that they are gradually becoming more known overseas, but the chances of a concert in the US is still probably close to zero. I won't give up hope though! It's amazing how much the fanbase has grown, when I first became a fan (6-7 years ago) there was barely any information about them in English. These days, songs get translated pretty quickly, all the videos are easy to find on youtube, there's even an English fansite, and I see tons of fanart and cosplay. I'm really grateful. <3
Oh is there a band you want to see nearby? Who is it? And an hour away isn't bad at all, unless there's something else keeping you from going?
Oooh the fiddle! Is this your third instrument? I know you play piano and cello, but I'm not sure if there was anything else. I wish I had the patience for playing music, but I greatly prefer listening to making it. Good luck though, I hope you're having fun!

YEAAAH. Have you ever heard of Olafur Arnalds? He is like...I guess it'd be classical? But sort of experimental sometimes, too. He has really lovely music. One of this songs played in The Hunger Games, which I was sort of surprised about! I think he lives like...in Iceland or something. I would really like to see him, but he's playing in San Francisco and I don't really know if I'd be able to handle driving there... I'm still kind of a nervous driver and SF is like BONKERS. And, I have no money. OTL The date actually might've already passed. I don't know! I don't want to think about it! It makes me too sad.
Haha, weeeeell, I'm not really good at any instrument at all, so I don't know if I'd put it on a list. But I HAVE an acoustic guitar, a piano, a cello, an ocarina, a flute, and now this violin. AHHH. I just need to like...find one I really like and stick with it, but I like them all!!! I just am not good at any, which is kind of frustrating. My friend is taking lessons with some guy and she is recording them and letting me copy everything and then we play together, hehe. So I am hoping that I will be able to keep up with her if she shows me what she learned. It's kind of nice because she's like, "LEARN THESE SONGS BY WEDNESDAY", which gives me a nice deadline. Yayy! I am having so much fun, though. I just love playing music. Even if they're really weird songs. I never have really wanted to play the fiddle, but I figure if I learn the fiddle, I'll learn the violin, yeaaaah? MAYBBEEEEE??? They're the same instrument...?

At least you are trying! I gave up a long time ago on trying to learn instruments, it's just not for me. I've only tried keyboard/piano and guitar...and guitar is nearly impossible for me. My hands just cannot do it. It's great that you have fun playing though! Learning a variety of instruments is a good experience, I don't think you should settle with just one.

Isn't it funny how some instruments fit us better than others?? I don't really like guitar, either...but I feel I learn the fastest on it, which is like...NO. I would rather not be able to figure it at all if I could learn the cello or violin faster, haha. The piano, too, is a struggle. But so many different instruments make so many different and beautiful sounds, so you are right! I WILL NOT JUST SETTLE FOR ONE BRILLIANT INSTRUMENT. I MUST LOVE ALL!!!! I WILL TELL THE WOOORRRRLD.
