Ahhh, yes. The holidays have been really insane. I meant to draw a ton of pictures for people and I just...didn't. I managed to finish ONE of like...ten. HAHA. AWFUL. Oh well. I'm not even quite sure what I did that made me so busy, but I felt like I had no time at all! I think it's the insane rush everywhere. Like...going to the store is no longer just, "I'll go out and do it now". It's more of a like, "IF I LEAVE AT 8, I SHOULD BEAT MOST OF THE CROWDS. BUT I HAVE TO GET OUT BY 9 OR I'LL DIE." I DUNNO. But it's nice that the crowds have died down a bit. Phew. WE MADE IT THROUGH ANOTHER HOLIDAY SEASON! The next will come quickly enough, I'm sure!

Oooh, Disgaea. I have never played it personally, but my ex always really thought that I'd love them. I should try them sometime... I've just been playing Tales of Vesperia like...non-stop. NO REGRETS. MAN. I just love those characters. I've been having dreams about them and ahhh. Nothing better than being completely submerged in a video game, haha. I am glad that you're into Disgaea. Fun, fun!

And I did have a good Christmas!! New Years was less exciting, haha, but that can be a good thing, I think. I was going to go out and see fireworks with my friends, but I am glad I didn't end up going because there was a shooting beforehand and some people got hurt and a few died. Apparently it was insanity there. Helicopters and cars going insane trying to get out! So yeaaaah, pretty glad that I stayed home. OTL Video games > RL dilemmas.

And sorry I always reply late on here!!! For some reason, I always skip over dA on my bookmarks bar when I do my daily rounds. I don't even know why! And by the time I see people's comments, I am like...a week late and I am just like NOOOOOO. THEY HATE ME NOOOWWWWW. *curls into little cavern* But ah, it is so nice to talk to you again. Glad you are still on dA!!

Ahh same here. I wanted to participate in a secret santa or at least do some sketches for people but I didn't. I just haven't been in a drawing mood for like a whole month... but I think I'm slowly getting out of it now!

Oh man, shopping at Christmas is insane. Most of the time when I go out it's during the week so there's hardly any people out, so the crowds during the holidays seem especially shocking to me, haha. Glad we both survived though!

Disgaea is lots of fun, and I love the art and character designs for the series. Vesperia! You got an X-Box! Ahhh I wish I could play it, it's been a while since I've played a Tales game. I'm glad you're having so much fun with it, I hear it's one of the best in the series! <3

Wow that is crazy, what an awful way to start the new year. D: I stayed home for new years too, my family/friends don't really celebrate New Years in a big way. I think it's because everyone is still recovering from Christmas, haha.

Ahh, I hope to see some art from you soon, then! I would like to say that I am getting into the artistic sort of mood, but I really haven't. I am just kind of like a lump right now. But I am thinking of taking an oil painting class this semester, so that should kick me into gear! And if not, at least I'll still get some art out of it, haha.

Yes! I like the art for Disgaea, too. Do you have a PS3? I don't think I have you on my little friend's thingy, but I saw someone playing that today and thought of you, haha.

Ugh, yeah, we are not big on New Year's, either. I think it might be more of a like...drinking/partying thing. I know my sister went out to a party and was like WOOO, fuuuuun! But ugh, that is not my thing like...ever.

I actually got stuck on Tales of Vesperia, hahaaaaa. I even tried looking at a walkthrough but ugggh....I did something wrong in a dungeon and am not really sure how to backtrack. I've tried several times and it just makes my brain really hurt! So I switched over and am now playing Assassin's Creed II, which I have been sort of obsessed with lately. Ahhh, EZIO.

And yes! I am actually using both Gaia and Tumblr!! Do you have either? Gaia lacks a little something that TM had, but it is still a good site, I guess. I just wish they had necks and slimmer limbs. THAT IS ALL I ASK, haha. Awful. But I'm using it anyways. Have you found any good sites?

Same to you! I have such a bad problem with starting things and never finishing them. I hit a certain point and I just don't want to work on it anymore. You should definitely take an oil painting class, I think your style would really suit it! I loved my class, and I learned some things that I could apply in digital art too. c:

I do have a PS3, but I never use the online stuff, I don't know how to use any of that, haha. I always loose my login info because I use it so rarely. OTL

That's not my thing either. And I've never really liked the beginning of the new year for some reason. I think because the last few months of the year are filled with holidays I love, and the anticipation and atmosphere during that time is so nice. Then New Years comes and it's like... ok, holidays are over, everyone go back to school/work. And I hate New Year's resolutions, haha.

Ahhh it sure is frustrating when that happens! Maybe you just need a break from that dungeon for a little while. Assassin's Creed looks fun! I've never played it, but I'd like to someday. SOMEDAY.

I was tempted to join Gaia, but I don't think I'm ready to start investing time in a site like that right now. I did join Tumblr! But I haven't used it yet, it's completely empty. What was yours? I thought I had it in my bookmarks but I can't find it in this mess D:

Yeaaaah, either the piece I start on is really ugly and I want to throw it away, or it turns out better than I expected and the next day I'll be too scared to continue, but I can't really finish it all in one sitting, haha. HEHE, that's the same thing with me. The end of the year means it's just an entire year we have to get through before it gets jolly and merry again. I do like Easter, though. That's like...sort of jolly.

Gaia is pretty fun, but I find myself on it way less than TM. It's kind of hard to talk to people unless you're in the forums or commenting to them directly. I sort of liked how on TM you can just slap a diary on there and people can read it if they want or don't want... I don't write diaries anymore! I FEEL SO LOST. Haha. Aaah I know exactly how you feel. I often stop halfway through because I feel like it won't turn out how I imagined. Maybe we both need to learn how to get over that somehow! And I usually can't finish something in once sitting either, I work so slowly. I haven't posted any of my paintings. I used a slightly more realistic style since they were for classes, and I didn't want to post them for various reasons, one being that some of my classmates also had dA.

I will let you know! I know I wrote it down somewhere, and I was supposed to put it somewhere where I wouldn't forget, but I did anyway. OTL

Like...I hate the struggle or something and it doesn't seem to be turning out how I pictured and blargh. Stick with things to the end and think of it as gaining experience! Much easier said than done, though.

Top right is a crappy phone camera shot, but I included it because it's one of the most recent. One side came out too yellow and the other side too pale. The whole thing is more green looking IRL. Now that I look at these, I see some things I want to change, haha. I want to start painting again but it's such a hassle to bring everything out and make a big mess...and I have a hard time coping with no undo. Digital art has spoiled me too much. OTL

And yeah, I'm pretty happy with these ones! There's some little things I'd like to fix up, but overall I'd consider these four a success. I can relate, I am so bad with science (and math), I always felt bad with my lab group/partner since I always had to rely so much on them. Lab time was the most dreaded time for me, it's safer and easier to just stick with lectures. I hope you make it out safely!

Yes! I feel like such a bother to the lady besides me, but I am so lucky because she is the sweetest thing. And she's really smart, too, so doubly lucky. OOH YEAAAAH.
