crazy...mom was just in houston at md anderson for brain surgery (idk if i ever told you she has melenoma? it's moving around a lot...) but she's recovering quite well...she comes home tomorrow. grandpa's in the hospital here in san antonio, but they moved him into rehab so he must be getting better...other than that, not a lot happening (aside from me being in charge of the kids in mom's absence :/ lol)

honesty? i thought i had...lol...i do post frequent updates on facebook...you know...if you ever went on there anymore...

i still have never been to an anime convention btw...although to tell you the truth, i haven't really had the time to be interested in much anime recently...

on a completely unrelated note, in case you also missed this on facebook, i am no longer single! although i don't get to see him or talk to him apart from writing letters right now, considering he's at boot camp. he's in the process of becoming a navy seal i'm so proud of him...anyway, just didn't want there to be one more thing i didn't tell you!

I cosplay all the time. But my group is so wonky that we can never get the whole group together to do one fandom. Next weekend at Anime Matsuri, I'm actually going to be Riku from Kingdom Hearts, Sai from Naruto and Germany(hopefully) from Axis Powers Hetalia.

I have done in the past Buttercup from Powerpuff Girls, Tohma from Gravitation, and Chibi Trunks from Dragonball Z.

In the future I would like to do Wolfram from Kyo Kara Maoh, Duo from Gundam Wing, Eevee from Pokemon, Yohji from Weiss Kruez, Jesse from Pokemon, Ban from Get Backers and I should be doing Musica from Rave Master. I'm sure there are others, but it's such a long, ever-growing list that I have no control over. My cosplay master likes to spring things on me last minute.

I would just like to at least look like my character... I wanted to do an already fat character that wouldn't be hard to do and I could just buy the costume (cause I can't sew) and I was thinking Robin Sena from Witch Hunter Robin but she's way skinny. I know you're not suppose to worry about weight but I'd like to respect the characters a bit and try to find someone at least a little bigger so I don't look like total drek.

The best part about little miss robin is that she wears a crap ton of fabric and her weight can easily be bullshited. If the costume is above and beyond the call of duty, your personal weight isn't going to matter. The best part about being three feet thick is that you don't care what other people think, because you know they KNOW that they could never look as good as you do. But that's just me being, "Fuck you, if I want to dress up as an anorexic fifteen-year-old boy I'm going to dress up as an anorexic fifteen-year-old and no one's going to stop me! MHAHAHAHA!!!"

Of course, I don't cosplay a single character that I don't absolutely love with all my heart. I do my justice by making my costume as perfect as possible. Detail is key.

It's best to just experiment on old rags and scraps. I can make pants but that's about it because that's all I was allowed to make XD Ah and a draw string bag X3 It was so cute X3 Anywho... when you cosplay, do you get a lot of people asking you to take pictures with them? Heheh there was this guy at the con I went to and he was dressed up as a bloody Pyramid Head carrying a sign that said "Free Hugs" XD I hugged XD
