yesterday I've showed my works in an art gallery, there were several artists, I 'll have the answer if I can exhibit in this gallery next month...
I wanted to know, is it "obligatory" to make series with specific things to show in gallery , to have a coherence between paintings or I can paint what I want just because I've inspiration ... I don't know if my question is clear ^^.

A series is more professional.

More focused.

People will say, 'Oh, that is a "Sophie" painting.'

Do not worry! It does not mean that you cannot change!

I understand. We want to experiment and grow.
Let this body of work shine and work on other bodies for other future galleries.

(I paint in three bodies of work. All show at different galleries).

ok, after the series of the multiples figures and hands I've to find something else.

I'm irritated, since I go back to college I paint only ugly things and I like all the time start again my painting. It's frustating !
