I wanna draw bikes. Ive tried and tried , S'pose best thing i can do is study them ( parts, places) and then it'll come naturally. What do you think?

Have you much experience with illustrator? If so one way to get started is to find reference photos and trace over them. Consider each color in the photo a separate peace to build. You could try and build parts from scratch as well using photo references for accuracy. It would be good to get a copy of KPT vector effects if you could find it. Its a group of filters for illustrator thats very helpful. I use it to make my frames have fluid bending gradiants.
