I was waiting in line, and the Director of SEGA was walking by and I recognized him from an interview, he stopped to talk to me, and I got an official report that SALLY ACORN IS THE SAME CHARACTER as the squirrel from Sonic the Hedgehog '91, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 '92 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 '94. her Japanese name is Ricky, but they are still indeed the same character, but the story on it is, much like Blaze the Cat, the Sally Acorn from Archie comics is another dimension. however she is canon in the games but the last time Sonic saw her was in Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball. Sonic does miss her as she is a childhood friend, but does not know her location much like Mighty, Ray, Fang, Bean and Bark. this is the official story. the Director does like her and watched SatAM.

Fans that dislike Sally and/or Sonic/Sally because we are at least in part fed up with her Mary-Sueness. What is a Sue you ask? Well not to be confused with a Suethor, who writes characters OOC and warps the story to elevate his or her pet character, a character with Sueness inherent in their being is defined as a character whose very existence conflicts with the logics of a given story's world. Characters forgetting their personalities/opinions to elevate the status of an author's pet? You get the idea.
So how does this relate to "Sally"? At present, the author's have pretty much said she's perfect in just about every way. The character and her parents have conveniently forgotten all the opinions and personality traits they once had that kept her off the battlefield. Sally can abandon all the cautious decisions she'd made for herself and her people to jump in the fray (when she herself noted she was no longer needed there) and nothing happens to her given her new-found reckless personality. She is still hailed as an effective leader, and competent foil to Sonic despite the fact she is essentially now, just a glorified Sonic the hedgehog forced into a role of directing the Team's missions and being their tactical support. Her reckless personality no longer has the merit to do these things she presently does, and yet, here she is doing them with flying colors.
And despite her reckless behavior, Sally is treated as though she is still the tactful and cautious catch-all foil for Sonic's "reckless" personality. Apparently, they want Sally and Sonic to be as they were in the past without noting the development Sally, and world around them has undergone. But even THEN she was a Mary Sue. Designed to be THE foil for Sonic, Sally's personality was and is the only value to Sonic. So how are the other characters supposed to make their's distinct, and valuable? The story has implies on numerous occasions that who they are should mean something to Sonic. Sonic refers to characters like Tails for example as a brother. Despite these indications, there is no actual basis for Sonic to find his personality to be of much value. It is these lapses in storytelling we do not like.

This means I now officially DISLIKE Sally now. Because no one could trust me, the fact that no one thought that I posted 2 posts at the same time by accident, and the fact that everyone's ignoring me, I have to fully sacrifice my effort of saving Sally. Because look at all those people out there! None of them like my view and desire. They say that they feel like dumbasses whenever I post strong comments on hate pages. As a result, they feel like idiots. No one would accept the fact that I cannot accept dealing with the hate clubs presence. No one would also accept my desperate and yet aggressive behavior. And though I will still keep my deviation of Sally and my character, Felicia Fox, my favor for Sally has died. I don't know when or where it will be resurrected.

I can't do it. I JUST CAN'T! Why did I write this again?!? I COULDN'T EVEN HIDE THAT! My favor has yet again resurrected. No matter if I say I hate her, her so called "chosen spirit" in my vision, will keep me from spreading hatred to the one who helps my artistic need.
Bottom Line:
The comments I wrote in past on the hate clubs should've been hidden or deleted. Those were immature and childish and don't deserve to be on hate clubs. Because I had such an irate spastic attack from those presence of the hate clubs, my vocabulary was random and illogical. Now, I shall become a missionary based on others that I've consulted.

I have to say, I like Sally, but Sonic and her... she needs someone who can handle being a "king". He's just so... cocky. Like Silver in Sonic Rivals. "I'm better than you.." But I like Sally in genrel. Can I join?

I found some overcomplicated reasons to hate Sally:
1. Sally, even during the time of SatAm, was quite a spotlight hog. She had a lot of story time and show time that it took away from Sonic and Tails as well.
2. Sally was the leader of the Freedom Fighters, yet she could barely protect herself against any threat. She got kidnapped a couple of times and possess no powers whatsoever. And to make things worse, Sonic was second in command.
3. She gets paired up with Sonic. And due to this little factor, when Amy Rose was introduced to the actual Sonic games, all SonSal fans began to bash Amy just because she was competition.
4. In the Archie Comics, Sally has gotten to be a royal bitch and brat. She had gotten Sonic thrown in jail a couple of times.
5. She overshadows other characters that come in. Elias, her poor brother, who is actually the first born and is suppose to be future king, had to be knocked away so that Sally can become queen. Also, she's the only one who surprisingly can use the Sword of Acorns even though she's never had it before and when Elias carried it, he couldn't free any of the robotized Mobians. How shocking...
6. She starts to freak out when other women begin to talk/flirt with Sonic, even though right now they are not together. I mean, Mina the Mongoose, who's a sweet girl begins to talk to Sonic nicely and we have Sally freak out. Same thing with Fiona...but Fiona is almost as bad as Sally.
7. Sally is way overly praised by people when she has done nothing to prove her worth.
8. She just had to be a princess...didn't she? If her and Sonic get paired up that would be too cliche. Besides...I doubt Sonic can handle being king.

Yeah... I'm a member, so as such I just wanted to make a statement.
I know most people here look at Sally as the embodiment of femininity, but that doesn't mean she can't kick ass. Most people these days just draw pictures of her in a romantic pose or being sad (except those where she's pictured as a promiscuous whore). I admit, I've drawn pictures of Sally being romantic, but without compromising her independence. And now I call for an improvement, that we may all remember that Sally is really a strong woman (albeit a cartoon) who can take care of herself.
