I was sitting at work tonight and it just hit me how much I miss this guy, and what an enormous role he played in shaping the way I look at things, and how much he encouraged me to let go and fall far outside the lines.

wanted to just say hi and let u know me and the boys think of daily. for the first time in a while the gnat got really emotional thinking bout u. mister tough guy. he and nick have taken this really hard but do better than me most of the time. they both carry a part of you with them whereever they go never without it me i keep u close when i sleep gives us comfort to know u r still around. talk to alot of ur old friends from time to time they all miss u too. dad still same ole same ole u know him never gonna change. but we still love him.hope u mom and mana having good ole time and i hope u will always be looking out for me knock and gnat we need all the help we can get. miss u jimbo for now and forever your family

Just checkin in here. I know if you had internet there you would add to it. However, I doubt you even look this way any longer as I am sure there are better things to do there. I want you to know, you are on my mind often. More than I can sometimes bare. But then I remember something off the wall and I am able to get on with it by laughing at that something. My outlet has become writing to you in hopes you can read my words if you can't hear. I wish I would have made the time, hindsight 20/20 and all. I know you knew me well enough to "get it" so I don't dwell. But man how I miss the stoopit stuff. Its AMAZING what you miss when you no longer have it readily available. I am glad you were who you were brother. I miss you.

Today in the Garden of he God's in your's and Nick's place, your sister and 2 nephews set loose 12 balloons for you before giving you back to the earth. You will forever fly among the mountains you so loved, they made sure of that. In Tn we let go 5 more balloons at the exact same moment. I am sure you too are shocked at the number of people you touched in your life. Many here in his place will miss you my brother. Go on now and get on with it. I'll see you again at the next stop. Be watching for me so I don't get lost.

Passed away in his apartment all alone and with a brother (me) who has been such a scumbag as not to check on him lately. James, I know you are lookin' and I want you to know I am sorry. I loved ou regardless of what I say. He will understand this (inside joke): "Hey Bozo! - I ain't Bozo! I wish I wuz though, that mans a freakin genious!"

By my name you know who I am, only you don't know that this guy is youve seen into is my brother James. While we have been rather disconnected, it did not ease any pain today when we learned of his death. What bothers me most was that he was all alone. Knowing he waned it that way "so he would say" makes it no easier.
