whee, first comment! welcome to DA, hope you like it here!!!

just to let you know, the anime community here is really protective of their work. there's a lot of issues going on in DA in terms of copyright infringment with the anime, movie, and female catagories here, and because of that the anime community (99.9% of us are, technically speaking, infringing copyrights... including me) tends to be under fire a lot by certain people that assume since it's ripped, it sucks.

with my pieces, i'll put as much copyright info as is possible on the piece in order to show i'm not meaning to rip... it's just not really possible for me to draw shiva from ffx. ^_^;; however, on one of my recent pieces (the shiva one), i got a comment from someone saying something along the lines of 'you people can keep doing rip-crap, but hey, some of us prefer quality over quantity!' it... wasn't... meant in a good way towards my submission.

so... hehe this is a long post for your first one *sweatdrops* sorry us anime-ers are a bit overprotective of our work from all the backlash. and that you apologized on your entirely innocent comment really means a lot to us, especially since you're new.
