Dude, thanks so much for the tat. Everyone that's seen it loves it. I'll probably post pics of it and the piercings on dA after it's all healed and stuff and I'll give you credit on it.
Also, I saw you had this really amazing Link HK in your HK/drawings book and now I really, really want it. xD I wanted a Triforce originally, but now I really want that HK Link. xD So maybe in the next two years I'll get that done. Hahahaha. Hopefully I won't be as squeamish. xD

I just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm going to Minerva on Monday, so I'll deff be coming up next week to get my tattoo done. I'll try to call a day or two before to make an appointment. Oh and my cousin is also interested in getting a tattoo. So we'll see how she feels the day of. xD

Hi. I posted on your wall awhile ago about getting a Hello Kitty tattoo done by you. I want to get it done sometime in July or early August. I just have a few questions.
1) Do I need to call ahead to get it done?
2) I'm 16 and my mom is going to sign for me and the whole shabam. But she has a different last name. I know I will need to bring ID, as does she. Do I need to bring my birth certificate to like verify that she's my mom and stuff since she's remarried?
3) Is it cool for my friend, my cousin, my mom, stepdad and possibly my grandma to all come with me to get it? xD I know it's a lot of people, but my friend is coming from Dayton with me to go to my grandma's and the rest of my family just wants to go. (We're trying to convince my grandma to get a tattoo. 
I think that's about it. xDDDD It's going to be my first tattoo, so I'm excited!

1. You don't have to call ahead, usually we're not super busy so we have time to do walkins but if you know the exact day and have an idea of what time then making an appointment would probably be a good idea. I'll be gone August 8-22 but any other day before then is good. Our current shop hours are mon-fri 3pm-9pm and sat 1pm-6pm
2. I would say bringing the birth certificate would be best if your last names are different.
3. bring as many people as you want.

the tats are awesome. how did you you get started doing tattoos? what kind of advice or tips would you give to someone who looking to start a career in body art?

thanks, It was just luck for me. I was always was into art and drawing and then my cousin brought me to a tattoo shop and they had an opening for an apprentice. Advice would be to draw as much as you can, study tattoo art and look for a tattoo shop around you that will take you on as an apprentice and teach you. Just make sure you check out the peoples work beforehand and make sure its a good shop, you don't want to learn from bad tattoo artists.

Thanks, you're gallery is pretty good. You have the imagination to create some pretty cool sleeve designs, I'm still working on that (I hate doing sleeve pieces and I need to work on my background designs) As far as tips I guess just never stop practicing and learning new things. Art is always changing so its impossible to know it all. I've been tattooing for 4 years now and I still don't feel I'm good, I have a lot more to learn and practice before I can tattoo the way I want to tattoo.
