Thanks for the fave on  Double Dribble
The sound of her tennis shoes pounding pavement steadily was music to Haylie’s ears. The sun had not crested over the top of the trees yet and she was nearing the end of her quick three mile run. She had really pushed herself and was nearing her personal best time. She knew without even looking at a stop watch. She knew from the burn and strain in her legs and her lungs. The fact that she was working hard enough to have sweat beading on her head and heck told her she was really pushing herself to her max.
Haylie loved every moment of what she was doing. Sure it meant having to get up early and stretching and running while most of her friends were still asleep. Running was something she had done since middle school she had been on the track team since sixth grade and cross country in high school. Now in college she continued to run. Although not good enough to compete at the highest levels she still enjoyed it and it help keep her fit for the sport she was born to play.
