Description
Made it with the brand new Vue 9 Infinite as a little test on the materials, ecosystems, object import, re-lighting etc...except some VGA issues everything worked well, and I was happy to see that finally the trunks of the Large European ashes look good (I had problems with them in 8.5) ...ohh, I had no crash O.o hahaRendered in 14,5 hours with custom profile (render speed was kinda the same as in 8.5)
Minor postwork in PS CS5

I like the style. It comes across as almost Impressionist, and is very well done. The detail is excellent.

Nice render there, has a kinda soft painterly feel to it. Just out of curiosity, the leaves in the foreground, are they just like an alpha layer or are they actual leaf objects? Great detail in the rocks btw

I'm jealous - I'm trying to render a scene with just as much ecosystem-stuff (dense forest also, just replace "European Ash" with "Scots Pine" ) and just yesterday alone Vue crashed on me like...12 times
would have had it done by now if it didn't
Oh, I like the leaves in the water, especially how they mass together like they usually do

This is impressive. Making detailed environment with close-ups on natural objects is very difficult for realistic 3D rendering. You did great!
