Description
I’m still just a hybrid foxI thought wrong.
I thought that my time on top,
Would be extremely long.
I really thought that it would be alright,
That I could raise my head up high, and fight.
But I was wrong,
So very, very wrong.
I once knew who I was, a fox.
Hybrid one at that,
Till some douche, came along,
And chained me up with locks.
He kept me at bay, watching me,
Making sure I did as told.
But I broke free, yes free and true,
But that put me out in the cold.
I broke apart, feeling blind,
Pieces of me scattered ‘round.
I walked around, my head hung low,
Waiting for my soul to be found.
But wow, oh gosh.
I wasn’t spared. As dreadful as this sounds,
I went through pain, death and words.
Coming at me in huge mounds.
I crossed my arms, and stared them down,
The folks that hated me.
Until they sided,
One by one
With the stronger me,
Once again, my head was raised,
My eyes glimmering with contempt,
Any who had challenged I,
Had something for them in one hit.
‘Course by now I’m strong as bone,
My fists are full of fury.
I’ll kick and spit at anyone,
If they think I’m alone.
SO hear me out,
Don’t screw with me,
Because I have one thing to say,
I am learning step by step,
Day by day,
That I am still
Just a hybrid fox.
