OK, so this literally took the whole of this year.
And a good portion of last year.....
Once this photo was leaked of Alex Pettyfer in Beastly, I immediately imported it into Photoshop. There, I traced him on a layer, and then painted on lots of others.
I am still trying to figure out digital art, but I think this one is not too bad. i used like an airbrush tool or something... and a texture from some random site on the vast internet.

This literally took forever... and i think i may have gotten Carpal Tunnel from it.
Also, I have decided that I like this piece, but I do not like doing digital art. It is far less fun. Somehow staring at a screen and using the mouse to paint is less stimulating than ACTUALLY painting.

Of course, I could have never accomplished this if I was ACTUALLY painting.

Digital art, random texture and brushes, from reference, took 6 months.... really.
