“Okay wasp! One show down, one to go!…. Such a long day.” The brunette girl groaned as she buried her face into the buckskin stallions mane “but it’s okay! Your gonna be a perfect boy, not cause any issues in the arena and your gonna’ make me proud aren’t you?” Ashlynn said with a stern glance at the horse who simply sighed in response.

“So bud, our next class isssss…. Cutting!” Ashlynn said with a grin as she checked over the schedule her father had made her write out on her phone, she figured she’d see him after this next class as of right now he was probably off somewhere on the grounds with a couple of old friends of his from his days on the rodeo and showing circuit that he had noticed earlier which left her to deal with the horses she didn’t really mind though.

Most people viewed wasp as a sassy unsafe stallion that can’t be trusted… and well they weren’t exactly wrong he had a major dislike for young children and wasn’t safe around them…. or maybe Ashlynn just embellished his dislike for kids in an effort to convince her little brother Levi to listen to her. Whatever the case Ashlynn viewed him as a challenge, originally bought for her father, Ashlynn took one look at the stallion and was sold and as Dani, her father would tell people she sort of stole the horse out from under him but she had learned the horses tricks and they got along well. Now it was all about proving that in the arena, her nerves from earlier in the day were still ever present but fading nonetheless.

Thankfully she didn’t really have to switch out Wasp tack for the next class so the horse had time to relax before they started and she was content hand grazing the horse. She supposed to some people that were from these parts the day might be considered cold but for her and her Manitoban roots it was nippy at best so the weather didn’t bother her much she still didn’t love the snow though.

Soon her swung back into wasps saddle after tightening the cinch and ran him through some light warm ups and then it was there turn in the arena once more “okay Wasp… lets show those cows who’s boss, K?”
