It's been a while since my last post so I decided to give you a glimpse on my nearly complete latest creation; The Super Mech. Around 95% complete.

I know, superman doesn't need a robot to fight, he is a semi god and all that comic knowledge you might slap me with. However, in some special occasions, superman has to rely on vehicles or machines when the situation is dangerous for him. The most common known superman vehicle must be the Supermobile.

I got the idea to make a Superman robot when I was looking at some images of those third party Lego knockoff sets. You probably seen the batman/superman mech action set from this Chinese pirate toy company I don't plan to mention it's name. When I saw it, I thought "I can do that" and started gathering the pieces for it.

So I started looking for the instructions online, then stumble to a page of an individual who had the set and gave a review on it. I was disappointed to see the figure was fragile and lacked of the minimum pieces to keep it together as usually Lego does. Worst than that, the low quality of the pieces made the joints easily to fail with days of play. Even worst the joints used in this low budget piece mess are not the ones Lego would use for a robot of that size.

So i decided to make a version that I would gladly storm retail stores to look for it to buy it. The result is this steroid built up robot. who would easily step on it and crush his Chinese counterpart.

I'm not going to reveal any of the features of this plastic muscle MOC. The intentions is just to give you a preview of the 8 inch tall creation. So enjoy it and I hope to see you soon.
