this last quarter at vet tech school, I tried to bring along my small sketchbook some days of my shockingly long and boring large animal lecture to doodle in. normally I doodle in the sides of my notes, but come the end of the quarter I then have to cut the good ones out and save them, and my actual sketchbooks remain empty as they’ve ever been.
I didn’t do a lot because the Chucklefucks behind me (as I’d come to call the four extremely obnoxious girls who spent the entire three hour lectures whispering, snickering while looking at shit on their phones, and flat-out doing the trying-not-to-laugh-out-loud snorting) were so goddamn distracting that it made it very hard to do much more than sit there and try not to turn around and yell at them to shut up. half the time my brain was like “they can see what ur doing and they’re laughing at you” and that also didn’t help
