First ref out of early access from my patreon for this month's theme. Doing a lot of ground work for the setting this set.

The first spellfluxed were in a miserable context.
They just had their home exploded
Their contemporary magic broke
The air super saturated into magic radiation doom
and now everyone that couldn't escape and evacuate completely get to deal with what amounts to a coin flip for "Yeah probably alive" and "Hmm that's pretty dead".

It got better but the first decade of the manatear it wouldn't have been an exaggeration to call it a hellscape.
