I gotta be honest, I thought Rose Tyler was a positively bland character that I didn't care for at all. So I was so happy when they brought in River. To me, she is ever so much more compelling.

Absolutely stunning! I can't stop looking at it. Your watercolour work is unbelieveable, I've only worked with acrylics so far. I had to look at the watch from a couple of different angles, but now I see it says 5:02 (I think.) Kudos again.

Ironically, if I remember correctly, doesn't the Doctor wear a watch backwards? As in, the face is on the inside of his wrist?

That is just European style. They think it is rude to put your arm between you and someone else when you check the time. So, they have it on the inside so you hold it outward. Also, the artist choose to change its orientation so that the viewer could read that it was 5:02 (his time of death)

I did realize it was turned around to show the Doctor's time of death, but I just thought that wearing it reversed was one of the Doctor's mannerisms, honestly. Wasn't aware it was a "European" thing.

Excuse me while I flail over this absolutely SUPERB work of art. It's so sweet and TARDIS blue and 5:02 and D'AWW and you have no idea how much I needed to see something this beautiful and sweet because I've just had a really crappy day and UGH DID I MENTION THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.
