BOOM 1.01 for winamp3 FINAL! UPDATED !
Original Design/Gfx by Adil (adil@maroc.net) and Coding/Scripting by Will Fisher (will.fisher@orange.net) A highly animated skin with some innovative features, such as a Fake Desktop alpha and Night Mode.
The first skin to feature a fully functioning control panel.

Yes, the grey bug is because desktop alpha is off, turn it on in the winamp preferences before switching to boom. it will work only for windows 2k and XP...
Willfisher is working on fixing that, he just came from vacation yesterday
I promise you the version 1.1 will have loads of new features that will make you play even longer with boom

Its gret, awsome.. but I wont use it because I get a horrible grey box around it probably because of win98.. You should create an actual MP3 player (hardware not software) version if you can, IT ROCKS

I just notice on [link] he released BOOM 1.01 for WA3 final, I don't need it myself, but maybe it could fix some peoples problems listed above?

I love the design but it won't load on my WA3...it tells me it's made for an older version and that some components are missing. How can i fix that?

That's weird. I just installed Winamp 3 Final on WinXP, and then installed this skin. It was practically unuseable; the background of the skin was some ugly grey that I couldn't get rid of.

clean and pretty... cool animations and the whole docking thing is fun to play with... viva la wa3! imho, anyone who bitches about freeform skins is a complete idiot, this is soooo much better than soniuqe or windows media player... as long as you get good skins (like this one) there's not a damn thing wrong with freeform... keep this kind of thing comming... I CRAVE!

Bummer crashes when you switch off of it in a clean install of WA3 final.

very cool skin. winamp3 needs some work yet. i dont get the same error as everyone has mentioned but playing an mp3 still results in the program crashing... graaaaaa. you'll have to keep this updated or just rerelease it upon WA3's completion. if there is such a thing.

Wow this skin owns. Unfortunately I am getting the same problem like sl8t3r, and the only way I can fix it is by playing songs on another skin then switching on BOOM. Otherwise its crashes. I tried un-installing winamp, installing BOOM then installing winamp again and still no luck. And I am running build 478.
Anyone know whats the correct steps to install it crash free?

hhmmmm resinstalled and still giving me a netscape/mozilla pop up. I wish it would work I love the style. It opens, but when I hit the play button it crashes or closes itself. Obviously something on my end. Again. great work.

wow...words can't really do this thing justice...just download it(reinstall winamp3), and find out for yourself...it makes using the program FUN... I know that sounds cheesy but it's true...I've never had so much fun starting a program...wish the shutdown was animated too...and possibly a more minimal mode of the skin, like a bar, just in case I wanna get some work done

well it took me many weeks to fine tune the design (I'm a lazy bastard ) and it took about a month for willfisher and I to add aditional features and code this baby.
This skin was coded by will to be working with final release of winamp3.
we will also be working on a version 1.1 with some more features soon.

I just d'loaded this skin and was blown away. This skin is absolutely MINT! How much time was invested in this skin?? The animations that the skin does as well are excellent.
Advice: If u have Winamp3 and dont have this skin, u dont know what WA3 is capable of, GET THIS SKIN!

I got the thing loaded -- fantastic! As if the installer wasn't clean enough, the skin is brilliant. Control over the light even? Too cool, adil. +Fav.

I too cant/wont use the later builds than 466 (numerous reasons ) from what i saw it looks good but I get the same thing as scheer does. Everything works cept for the main player.

yeah, winamp2's still my favorite player here, but now I use winamp3 more just because of this baby. It's a very functional skin, just give it a try.
NOTE: The new winamp3 builds are very unstable. you might need to uninstall COMPLETELY winamp3 and reinstall it beofre running BOOM.
