Description
Two brother-like platforms... together at last!Third Generation of Video Gaming kickstarted when Nintendo gave birth to the so-called Family Computer in Japan. It could've stayed in the Land of the Rising Sun forever, but the decision was made to distribute the console all over the world. The significant effort was made to modify Famicom into the iconic grey block, which was rechristened as Nintendo Entertainment System. So, NES became the savior of American video game market, outshining ill-fated Atari 2600 with ease.
And here we are... the time has come to unite two "siblings" together. This project serves to convert different variations of NES palette into Game Boy color combinations.
Yes, you heard me right. I said variations: broadcasting systems, graphical hardware, even emulators have itty-bitty differences when it comes to displaying colors - hence why I've decided to select a significant bunch of palettes. From time to time, I'll be making several sets of the appropriately named NES Collection.
Every palette of this collection sports RGB and HEX colors for easy replication. If you have BGB or Gambatte as your emulators of choice, you can add this stuff easily.
