Despite playing as a Sith Pureblood, I've never actually used the "Punish" racial ability.Β The targeted companion actually cries a little after you slap them, and I don't have a companion I'd want to do that to, though I imagine other people might.People really are into the male dancer outfit, though: [link]

I can't bring my self to do things like this, but a friend on wow has a whole mess of macros dedicated to defiling and the likes of his minion just cause he can, hell his sacrifice macro is "I never really liked you anyway..." can you imagine someone killing their companion and saying that?

I agree that it's a horrible ability. I used it once to see what it did... then felt so dirty that I haven't touched my Pureblood character since.

Unlike some MMO's that railroad you through awful choices, you can make the choice not to use that ability.Β Heck...you could even RP it as the character knowing about that because of having witnessed/grown up with abuse but choosing to be a better man/woman and not perpetuate the cycle.

Yeah. My first MMO was the kind that railroaded the player and I abandoned it for that reason among others. SWTOR was better because it actually let me play a Sith MY way.

Yep.Β In fact, this discussion helped me flesh out the background of my Warrior.Β (Yeah, I haven't played him, because my stories are from my Inquisitor's POV, but I know who he is and what he would be like.)
The MMO that turned me off was Star Trek...my Klingon-aligned character was railroaded into torturing a Starfleet captain to death, and I was having none of that.Β This character a) was NOT Klingon yet forced to act like one and b) would have challenged said Starfleet captain to a fair duel where HIS life was at risk too, rather than torturing a guy...even for information.
So yeah, the freedom to play my Inquisitor (and any other character) as I see fit is a big draw.

I don't remember having to torture any Starfleet Officers to death on my KDF characters in STO... of course back when I started, the game had only just gone free-to-play and KDF characters started at level 20-something instead of level 1 like Starfleet so it may not have been an option at that point.

Quite possibly.Β I believe I started on Level 1.Β It put me off completely because not only did I not appreciate it but I could feel my character himself completely rebelling.Β (Hell, I even had a dream once where I saw him, and how disgusted he was. O_O )

I both like and dislike the Sith Pureblood social ability, because it allows me to punish annoying characters, but I also feel sorry while using it.
And appearantly HK-51 can cry if this ability is used on him, guess he has an emotion chip of some kind installed.

There are a number of midriff-baring male and unisex outfits ( tor-fashion.com/midriff-baring⦠), but no, not this particular one. The male eyecandy thread I linked in the caption involves images taken with and without chest armor, and Photoshop.

If you're playing a Pureblood, the Punish ability should be under "General" in your abilities window, if you never put it in your quickbars.
I hesitate to take requests because there's no guarantee that I'll be able to work them in, especially if there are a lot of them.Β I do sometimes get ideas from the comments people post, but it's unpredictable.Β Drawing pictures including specific people's characters is something that would probably happen if I ever decide that I'm prepared to start taking commissions, since if I do it on request I probably won't have time to do what everyone wants and do it well.
